The first step to becoming a Castle Connolly Top Doctor is through their nomination process. Every year, Castle Connolly surveys tens of thousands of practicing physicians across the US. Once a doctor is nominated, Castle Connolly’s physician-led research team screens each doctor to ensure they meet their standards.

The criteria include professional qualifications, education, hospital and faculty appointments, research, reputation, and disciplinary history. Dr. Picerno is a double board-certified facial plastic and head and neck cosmetic surgeon, as well as a practicing otolaryngologist. Her areas of expertise include medical and surgical treatment of childhood ear problems, treatment of adult and pediatric throat, voice, tonsil, and adenoid problems, and treatment of thyroid and submandibular glands. Dr. Cutler is dedicated to helping patients of all ages with a variety of ear, nose, and throat disorders and is passionate about customizing treatment to meet the needs of each of his patients.
