
Bio:
Dr. Varadarajan is a neurotologist and skull base surgeon who specializes in the management of ear and hearing-related disorders. As a lifelong musician, he obtained a degree in music and fostered his passion for auditory perception by pursuing subspecialty training in otology, neurotology, and skull base surgery after completing his otolaryngology residency. Dr. Varadarajan is dual board certified in neurotology and otolaryngology, and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Implantable Hearing Devices Committee.
Dr. Varadarajan’s professional aim is to provide cutting-edge care for the full spectrum of conditions related to the ear, hearing, and the temporal bone. His areas of expertise include cochlear implants, bone conduction implants, medical and surgical options for hearing rehabilitation, and the comprehensive management of acoustic neuromas.

Life Outside AOO/ENT specialists of the Rockies:
Originally a Wisconsin native, Dr. Varadarajan moved to Denver with his wife and daughter. He is musically trained in the violin, guitar, and sitar. He performs original instrumental fingerstyle compositions on the 6-string and 12-string. Dr. Varadarajan also enjoys hiking, trail biking, jogging, nature and animal photography, cooking, and caring for marine aquariums. Dr. Varadarajan is also active in the otolaryngology community, provides educational lectures, and has authored numerous publications in the fields of otolaryngology and neurotology.
